Founders Bio

A versatile creative, Magnus Thorud embarked on his career in fashion at 18, opening his first boutique in Sandefjord, Norway. In 2003, he co-founded an agency in Oslo that specialized in contemporary and high-end fashion, eventually becoming one of Scandinavia’s leading fashion agencies.

In 2015, Thorud founded Kolours Jewelry to fuse the traditional craftsmanship of fine jewelry with the dynamic, personalized approach to self-expression found in fashion. What began with bespoke creations grew into the debut collection, featuring stackable, timeless designs like tennis bracelets and hoop earrings, all crafted in colored natural diamonds and gold.

Kolours Jewelry stands apart as a distinctive fine jewelry house, drawing inspiration from Thorud’s travels, his clients, his passion for collecting, and his background in luxury fashion.
